Animals for adoption at Farmingville Animal Hospital are medically and lovingly cared for and guaranteed healthy before ready for adoption. If you are in the area and interested in adopting, drop by to meet the pets we have for adoption. Unfortunately, we do not have the space to accept any new pets for adoption.

The following is a list of available animals who need a loving home.

kittens for adoption Kittens- We always have many kittens available for adoption. Please call to inquire about them.
cat for adoption Princess- Princess is a spayed female tabby and white cat.  She was born about June 2008 and we think that she is related to Speckles, Snuggles and Tangueray.  She is a very very shy cat but once you get her, she is very affectionate and loves to have her neck scratched.  Now that she has become comfortable here, she has turned into a very playful and sometimes mischievous cat.  Her favorite toy is a tin foil ball and will play with it for hours.  Princess is very curious and often you will find her sitting on top of the cages looking at the patients. She gets along great with the other cats although because she is timid she sometimes gets beat up by the more dominant cats.  She is fully vaccinated and Felv/FIV tested negative.
Fergie is a spayed female orange cat that was born about 6/2011.  She was brought in by a good samaritan after being hit by a car.  Fortunately she did not suffer any major injuries.  She is a very sweet cat who is shy at first but will soon be your best friend.  She gets along well with the other cats and does not seem to mind dogs very much.  She is fully vaccinated and Felv/FIV tested negative.
Spooky Kitty  is a spayed female black cat born about 2011. Spook was adopted from us as a kitten but was returned about 1 year later.  She is very shy but does warm up quickly.  Spook gets along well with the other cats however she does not care for dogs.  She could live in a house with a very calm or older dog that will not pay much attention to her.  She is fully vaccinated and Felv/FIV tested negative.
Athena  is a spayed female tabby cat that was born about 2010.  Athena is a very very shy cat that would do well in a quiet house.  She will be your best friend with a little patience and caring.  Athena gets along well with the other cats however she does sometimes bully the newer additions.  Athena also does not love dogs however she could live in a home with an older more calm dog.  She is fully vaccinated and Felv'/FIIV tested negative.
